A new report from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), "Start With Her," highlights critical data gaps hindering progress in gender equality, women's empowerment, and sexual and reproductive health.

The report stresses the importance of disaggregated data, broken down by gender, age, and other relevant factors, to understand the diverse needs of different groups of women and tailor policies accordingly.  Accurate and comprehensive data is essential for identifying gaps, measuring progress, and ensuring accountability.  It empowers policymakers to make informed decisions and allocate resources effectively.
