Publication of the midterm progress report
TAGS

To inform the discussions around CRVS at the seventh session of the ESCAP Committee on Statistics, a report was published, with information pulled from the questionnaires sent by countries as part of the midterm assessment of the CRVS Decade for Action. You can find it here. It aims at giving a preliminary picture of the main trends in the Asia-Pacific countries since the inception of the Decade, especially regarding the implementation steps of the Regional Action Framework and the birth and death registration level.

Another report, this time specifically intended to inform the discussions at the Second Ministerial Conference on CRVS to be held 16 - 19 November 2021, will be published later this year. Answers to the questionnaire can still be submitted until September to be included in this final report.
